Hey all! Been a while since I posted. I lurk from time to time; gotta keep a hand in on the forums where my fashion passion began, after all!

I was very inspired by Angie's post about sassy sweatshirts, as I happen to own from this spring that has been sitting in my drawer. i had been wearing it more as loungewear, but it's got such great color-blocking it felt like it was being wasted on my husband and cats. Thanks to Angie's post, I decided to style it as a cool-summer casual option (which was possible this week now that the heat wave broke).

The sweatshirt is from Old Navy from this spring, the boyfriend jeans (my most favorite cut of jeans, HURRAY!) are Kut from the Kloth from Angie's rec, and the flat sandals are most worn this summer, a striped-and-brown pair from Sam Edelman.

I loved this, and got compliments on it yesterday. My girlfriend didn't even realize it was a sweatshirt until I had her feel the material. I normally would avoid wearing color-blocking that emphasized where my body is the widest (my hips) but in this case I felt the top accents drew attention away enough that I didn't care.
What do you guys think?

P.S. George is lurking in the background. He says hi!
