Looking at it clearly (requisite vision joke based on the year), I see that setting new goals every year isn't me, especially as I don't buy many new items with which to make wardrobe changes. I'm going to continue to work towards a cohesive wardrobe that lets the fun shine through in lurking quirk, "me" colors, & a mix of silhouettes, and consists of locally-made, sustainably sourced items that I can mix with one another easily.

When we got to Germany, I had 10-20 lbs to lose, but I put on weight instead. That's gone now, I'd like to lose the rest, and would then need to reshuffle my wardrobe as a result. I have a whole suitcase full of "goal" clothes waiting in the cellar that I will augment with new purchases as needed.

My colors are still the same--I'd like to be able to wear tonally matched berry colors head to toe, and reds, blues, greens, and black-n-white patterns to mix in.

Synne has issued a couple challenges to me that I want to take her up on (they are ways I've fallen short on my general style goals): wear more shapes (pants!) and experiment with the colors of my "catburgler suit" (Suntiger, did I get your phrase right?). The cape/vest I bought last year is a new shape for me, and I've had fun with it. As I buy new pieces (beyond shoes & outerwear, which will be my main purchase foci this year https://youlookfab.com/welookf.....st-2089973), I want to make sure they will add to the variety of shapes in my closet.

Being comfortable and pragmatic will always be at the base of my
style--I come at the "fashion & practical" mix from the opposite
side than most YLFers. My main goals for this year are to finally get a "real" job, then, based on it, make a serious plan for home ownership, and get my son ready to launch in fall 2021. Along with those, I want to build an exercise routine like I had my whole life before Tampa, finally take up the musical instrument I've been talking about, and start doing more "tourist" things in our great city. The point of wardrobe planning for me is to support those things.
