Our neighborhood has a big parade where everyone dresses up in red, white, and blue. Though I am definitely willing to sport red, white, and blue together, I rarely do. So today's outfit was pulling together what I have to make a festive outfit. I'm not sure that the shirt reflects my current style, but I do love the color. I think I'd prefer a slight heel but since we were going to be on our feet so much I opted for flats. I'm super excited about the shorts, which are Karen Kane. I found them at Nordstrom Rack for $15!
The dog and the kid couldn't stand to be left out of the fun. My daughter (who is very into birthdays right now) has been happily singing happy birthday to the USA. So happy birthday, USA!
