I absolutely loved this capsule that Angie put together. I think part of my love might come from the fact that I own some similar pieces. I was pretty sure I could put together a similar capsule with what is in my closet right now, without any shopping. Here's what I came up with. A couple points:

  • I skipped the legging/tunic outfits because, although I have leggings, I only have winter sweater dresses to wear them with.
  • I have white shorts so I could sub those in for the white jeans depending on what I was using the capsule for.
  • I put in a greenish grey skirt in place of the pants in Angie's capsule.
  • I don't have culottes so used a long pair of very dark denim shorts instead.
  • I put in the flower girl graphic tee in place of one of the white shirts in Angie's capsule. I have plain white t-shirts I could have used though.
  • I haven't actually tried all the combinations on and would definitely do that before packing this for a trip.

I took pictures thinking that I could pack all this for a summer trip. I'm tempted to try just wearing these pieces for a few weeks this summer to see how I feel about a small casual wardrobe However, I have so many other clothes, that I also like, that I would then miss out on wearing. I'm conflicted...

I've never really tried to put together a capsule so this was an interesting exercise. Thoughts?
