I posted today http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....to-wearing and Janet posted her SW tall boots. Realizing they work for narrow calves and seeing how I've been looking for a black boot replacement for 2 years, I stopped at Nordstrom today and tried them on...they are beautiful, the heel is under 2 inches, fit my calves nicely allowing room to wear skinny jeans but work for dresses and skirts, too! Score! They are shipping me 1/2 size smaller because they seemed a little too roomy even for my fussy bunion adorned foot. I'm so excited!
Those are gorgeous boots! I can totally understand why you needed to splurge on them. I think you'll wear them happily for years and years, so the CPW will whittle down to peanuts. Isn't that fab?!
That is actually a good sale for SW boots. I had to size down too. I had foolishly bought the SW 50/50 boots a couple of years ago a half size UP from my usual, and tried to ignore the size problem by wearing them with thick socks. Well, it never quite worked right, so I ended up selling the 50/50s and bought these boots a FULL SIZE smaller! So they definitely run a little generous on the size. The fact that they fit nicely on my skinny ankles but not-so-skinny calves is pretty significant. I'm glad they work for you too!
Thanks, Janet! Spendy still but I've been looking for over 2 years for a tall black boot replacement....I'm hoping the smaller size will be perfect. I loved the refined and classic style and they look great with jeans, dresses, pontes! YaY!
