I like all the versions. It's amazing how versatile short hair can be!

Love each and every version. Suits you so well - particularly to show off your cheekbones!

Oh, each one is so pretty! I'm amazed by the versatility you can get from your pixie!

Love love your hair! I have worn my hair short for the past 20 years and have never regretted it. I want to change it up a bit and think I will grow mine out a bit before I make the change since I have a bit of an undercut and think I would much more prefer blended in layers than such a sharp line in the layers.

Fabulous versatility = a fabulous cut! I think the way the hair works with your spec is particularly wonderful. For me, it's key to have a cut that lets me air dry if I need to -- it's clear you have a lovely wave, so I'm glad you have the option to flaunt it!

The wavy variation is sweet!

I never thought of a pixie cut as versatile, but yours sure is!

Funny story, my sister-in-law got a new cut recently and my five-year-old niece heard the stylist call it a "pixie" and she HAD to have it, too. I guess the name reminded her of Tinkerbell and friends.

Neat! Also: Those are great outfits!

Angie, love seeing how you change up your hair. I have been wearing my hair short for about 40 years! I love the wash and wear ease of my cut. I sometimes (but rarely) change it up with product. If I do, it is totally slicked back or chunked into pieces. Thanks for sharing your pixie tips!

You’re all awfully kind. Thank you.

Janet, YES, the waves surprise most people - probably because I can get my hair super straight.

RobinF, exactly. I crave the change. More fun.

Naz, you look fab with short hair.

Dana, I don't have a favourite. And glad your curls are in good condition.

Lisa p, I thought your hair was longer - no? You definitely have thicker hair than me - maybe that’s what makes it look longer. I have fine hair. It's easy to style, which helps. Have you ever tried slicking your hair back? Are you enjoying the undercut?

Merwoman, Mirjana, Style Fan, Lisa, Jaileen, bridgie, Jane, kerlyn, - you’re lovely. I appreciate your nice comments.

Dianna, happy to have inspired you to change things up. Your hair looks gorgeous in your avatar.

chouette, thanks for the skin compliment. It’s very well cared for!

Linder51, HIGH FIVE.

JunierGreen, I appreciate the compliment.

Jenni NZ, you crack me up. I wash my hair daily. I cannot stand the look and feeling of day-old product in my hair because it’s fine. Thick hair is more forgiving of day-old product. Hair takes me 15 minutes to style from wet to dry. I have easy hair.

Sara L, thank you. Have we seen you crimp your hair? Sounds fab.

Gryffin, you are hilarious and sweet. I LOVE a sleek classic bob. Anna Wintour has phenomenal hair.

danusia, disconnected styles have been all the rage for four years. I haven’t been driven to create a disconnected look, but have liked some renditions on others. I think it looks better on dark hair, which rules me out. Also, I look more professional with blended layers. I am wholesome to the core.

Beth Ann, I admire your lovely hair.

Runcarla, you are wave and curl biased!

Jenn, HAH. Adorable. Does your niece like her short hair? Little girls tend to prefer long hair.

Rachy, thanks for noticing what you can see of my outfits.

Madeline, I’ll join you in the 40 years.

Angie & Dana: thanks for the feedback, guess I should have been more specific, lol.

At the moment, I need light hair products (e.g. oils as opposed to creams) because my hair is fine but plentiful (not 'thick' but dense?), low porosity & curly/ wavy (2B/3A). Anything too heavy ends up weighing my curls down, which shows more because of my hair length.

What I'm wondering is whether a short haircut will mean that I need to switch to heavier products to keep the cut in place (I hear that shorter hair requires more styling than my current 'wash & go' length)? I'm just thinking about how to manage those heavier products in humidity whilst still keeping my hair's bounce & not looking like a matted poodle!

Love these! I am so impressed with the versatility. They are really different looks and moods.
I am pretty laissez faire with my hair - it is different every day because the weather and whatever affects the curls. But it had never occurred to me to straight iron it, hmm. Actually I sometimes wonder how it would look if I curled it even more with a curling iron - I love it on super curly days.
(Taken accidentally on very curly day, with bonus hoop earrings .)

I love the variety, and how great each of these looks on you, Angie.
Shevia, you are adorable with your curly longer side cut and the hoop earrings.

I love the versatility of your hair. Like you my hair is fine but I have a lot of it.
No wave in mind though.

You have very nice hair that you can style so differently even while being short. All the dos you showed are fab.

You have blown my mind. I always had the impression that anyone with a pixie had only one way of wearing it. Yours is fun, looks fab on you and in all its variations,

Great looks and fun to have the variety. I really like your hair this year - it suits you and your personality brilliantly.

I always loved your pixie, it quite fits your style persona I think, but I sooo miss your outfit's blogs:-(((.

I love all your looks. Your hair is very well-behaved and you're very lucky!:)

You make me laugh! Your hair is very versatile just like your wardrobe! My hair has a mind of its own. It decides for itself what it’s going to do for the day!

Who would have thought that you can get so much variety get from short hair - certainly much more than me from my "same old" long straight one. You look gorgeous in all the versions Angie and I cannot pick a favorite. Your hair styling skills are also impressive.

THANK YOU for the kind words, ladies - and the giggles. I am grateful for well behaved hair - as Bella puts it.

Sorry I can't respond in more detail right now. I'm rushing off.

Jaime, your salt & pepper locks and hoop earring are sublimely signature. LOVE.

Angie - I have about 4 hairs on my head , super fine too. I don't have the right head shape to wear it slicked back . I do love a good mini pompadour though, and will play with that once in awhile.

Lisa p, really? Your hair looks very thick. Bring on the pompadour. Sounds fun.

Fresh cut yesterday, and am wearing it air-dried and wavy today. Feeling feminine. See pic.

So awesome! I love that cut on you. I could never sport it, but it does make me want to consider something new.

Works very well with your delicate features. I have a personal preference for « classic » and « modern » = hair off your face.

You're sweet, Thistle. Thank you.

Isabelle, as charming and forthright as ever. Wearing my hair off my face is very specs-friendly.

I love the wavy pixie and the outfit with the green glasses and blouse. I enjoy seeing these dressier outfits.

Shevia your curly do also looks amazing, especially with the different shades that the grey lends it - definite inspiration! Do you have to struggle with the humidity issue & curls where you're at?
