I’ve been very scarce on the forum these last months while my Papa was in hospital. I wanted to let you all know that he passed away on Wednesday evening after a very long battle with cancer.
At the moment, I don’t know what to say that would even remotely do him justice. My Papa was extremely brave, and the biggest fighter and strongest man I have ever known__ It is a relief that he doesn’t have to suffer anymore, but he leaves a gaping hole in our hearts.

Oh Inge. I am so sorry I lost my dad about 3 years ago, and it's so hard. Mine suffered a great deal at the end of his illness as well. It's a blessing that he's no longer suffering, but still...
