Thanks Rae!
Thanks Mochi. I think you're right, that might be part of the problem. I'm going to keep my eyes open for a blazer alternative and a different striped shirt. I also have the navy/cream one with the dropped shoulder seams, but it's a bit more boxy and not ideal for layering, I think it looks better on its own.
Thanks Kiwichik!
Thanks Aida! Yes, I think so too. I'm looking for one.
Thanks Shiny!
Thanks Rita! It's the blazer that was the problem. It's just not comfortable and I don't feel that great wearing it.
Thanks Claire! I have been more comfortable in the past wearing skirts, but I got used to pants again last year. I have no problem wearing straight legs or flares as long as they seem flattering to me. Still not loving the skinnies though.
Thanks for the links, Gaylene! I'm going to keep experimenting with this, I agree that it is a great formula. That scarf is an oldie, but I still love to wear it! It's from the time when I didn't wear much color at all. A friend convinced me to buy it when we were shopping together, she said I would need some happy colors in my life.
Thanks Asingh! I feel more comfortable in bootcuts and flares and therefore were them, but I never thought about them looking more polished than skinnies. Interesting that you think so!
Thanks Denise! I agree. I guess I wanted to get more use out of it because I just don't like to have things just hanging around, but maybe that's alright in this case.
