11 years ago. When I wore black and high heels. Toned down the Hard Edge with TEXTURE & Pearls. Passed on this moto last year. Had it for 12 years!

ETA: I would wear this outfit today in dark blue and with flats. Classic.

I remember both of these! It makes sense to pass along the black one (great as it looks here) because your preferences are elsewhere now. The seafoam is delicious, still! It's amazing how motos really take a LONG time to date.

I love both! It is so interesting to see your style through the years. The pearls, specs and short hair are constants and the rest just evolves around them:-)
I never thought I’d see the day that flats, and sneakers at that!, would look more modern than heels with a lot of outfits. But here we are in 2020 and it is one of the stand out features of your style! I still wear heels with my dressy outfits but I generally don’t have to walk miles on those days (mainly Sundays for church). I have all these pretty shoes that sit in my closet and I do like to wear them but I know that some flats in various styles would likely be a bit more ‘of the times’.

Don’t you also have a blush Moto jacket from NAS a few years ago? Maybe I am thinking of your pastel blue-green one here. It got me thinking of Motos in something other than black to control the hard edge.

Interesting that you decided to pass on the one that’s harder edge. Looking at the pics now, and knowing how your style has evolved over time, it makes sense to me. It was still a great outfit for you at the time, though!

All fabulous outfits - such a shame that the blush moto did not go the distance, it was a beautiful piece. I will definitely draw inspiration from this and the blog post to style my dark charcoal moto which felt a bit heavy for my style last winter.
