I ordered this dress on sale from Wray. I really like their clothes and POV, and have my eye on several items, but this black dress was the one I felt I'd actually get a lot of wear out of.
I have wanted a nice sleeved black dress for some time and have bought a returned a few that just were too heavy and overwhelming on me. I don't do black very well...
This nice fabric is light enough that I think it works! It is in fact slightly transparent which I quite like.
It pulls at the bust a tiny bit. The pleated waist is flat in the very middle front, a wonderful details that allows it to subtlety avoids the "pregnancy fashion" look and I think the seam falls far enough below my bustline to just barely work. Admittedly, I have a large bust for my size. So I was happy that it fit reasonably OK.
The buttons also allow me to nurse (a must with dresses now since I am around my little nearly all day).
