Greg wanted me to get a pair of white low-top fashion sneakers because he prefers the look to hi-tops. (I prefer hi-tops, but like this look too). So I got the Frye Ivy Low Lace. They're sublimely comfortable and beautifully made. Perfectly suited to low volume feet. Very neat, tidy, crisp and polished. (Stan Smiths, Ellen Degneres and Ecco sneaks are all too wide for me to wear without socks, which is how I want to wear them). Greg thinks they look super cute.

I'm wearing them casually, much like I would wear my dressier white loafers. I christened them today on a soggy Seattle walk with Sam. They are weatherproof, leather, and warm. AND clean-up well after a grassy wet walk with a quick wipe. This is QUALITY. Pricey, but worth it. Photo #3 is post soggy walk.

ETA: I'll be taking them with me on our casual getaway with my boys this weekend. Good both with laces tucked away or visible with a bow.
