I'm so glad that you decided to get it cut. Do you love it? I don't think you look younger- I think you look older and more sophisticated.

WOW what a transformation! There is so much life and movement there now, it really frames your face and makes your gorgeous eyes pop!

I think you look very age-appropriate. You look sophisticated, but not older IMO. I don't know that your longer hair was aging you, but it was "dragging you down" a bit, if that makes sense.
The new look is gorgeous, and I know you'll rock it.

Ele - actually, it's not much shorter - the back part of my hair is only 2-3 cm shorter; however, the front layers are short. I must admit that I like it that way.

AJ - yes, I'm wearing lipstick. I'm not sure if I picked a good colour, though.

Wow, I don't have the words to say how much better this looks. You look so much fresher and lighter. It's amazing how a haircut can actually slim you down. Your hair was weighing you down so much it looked like you were sinking into the ground. Now you look much lighter overall.
