We've lived in the US for 19 years, and this is my 18th NAS. Some years I don't have a great NAS, and other years I do. It's very unpredictable, and I go with the flow!
I ended up with ten items, and most of them were on my shopping list:
- Dressy Trouser Suit - check!
- Long Navy Coat to replace a 14 year old one that is finished - check!
- Dressy Pants - check!
- Knitwear - check!
- Skirt - check!
- Slow down the patterned purchases - check! (everything is solid apart from the stripe)
- Keep it dressy - check!
- Keep it fluidly tailored - check!
Peachy-Toffee Faux Leather Moto = FUN WILD CARD
White boots - always looking for comfy dressy shoes that go the distance, and these are a no-brainer! Similar to what I have but that's no problem.
Navy Peacoat - could not resist the simple and stunning architectural fit of this one. An easy throw-over, and my way of doing the oversized trend without it overwhelming my narrow-shouldered frame.
Have worn the skirt twice - and got it four days ago! Telling.
Wore the moto on Sunday night to eat dinner outside - it was chilly! Loved it!
The watch strap was sized and went on my watch right-away, and I wear my Apple watch every day. Thrilled with it!
Both pairs of trousers are at alterations to have the hems shortened. The peacoat is having its sleeves shortened. Will model it all when it's back!
Had a fast outfit creation session at home, and the palette works well with my whites, pastels, and brights. I'm set for a while
*(Returned both dresses - patterns and colours not right although the fits were perfect).
