Two recent outfits with long shorts:
1) My sister offered me some clothes she was no longer interested in wearing. I went through a huge pile and only picked what I really wanted. (My sister's clothes are my Achilles' heel, so this is a huge achievement that I am proud of ) The shorts and the short-sleeved button-down are two of the items that came home with me. I was impatient to wear them for a leisurely Sunday boat ride, dinner and ice cream. This outfit looks great in photos, but the top was a bit too stiff and warm for the weather. I will give it another chance on a cooler day and just pass it along if I am still not comfortable. The shorts are longer than my preferred length, but they are linen, soft and a gorgeous color, and long shorts are trending, so I'll keep them for now.
2) This is the pair that I just picked up from Bershka.

I love love love them! They may not look like much in the pictures, but the shape is truly perfect for me, like a skirt but more hip and trendy! Wearing them with a new knit top. This was for a teaching day, already repeated the whole outfit once.
I wore both outfits with my gladiator sandals.
