In light of Angie and Brooklyn's pearl... items I find JOY per wear. Cost per wear is important, but it tends to suck the life out of style for me, if I'm honest. With the exception of the jumpsuit and two trench coats, I don't think I've done any WIW posts here wearing any of these items. Might be fun to do some WIW outfits with these soon.

Here are my JPW clothes.

Jumpsuit. This still hasn't been washed after last summer's two wears haha! I purchased this jumpsuit twice. The first one shrunk after one wash in cold water, gentle cycle. The company sent me a replacement. I'm so tall that any shrinkage means it's literally a pain in the tush. This summer I have thoughts to save it by maybe having a tailor had a knit ribbed material at the waist. Comfy, hidden by the belt, and a bit more rise/torso length. We shall see.

Military jacket. The military jacket is something that isn't maybe truly on-trend right now. It's a wildcard oddball in my wardrobe. I love all the sequins and doo-dad dangly chains attached to the shoulders. Though, I don't know how much washing/drycleaning they'll take. That's another reason I don't wear it tons.

Leopard trench coat. This was an impulse clearance buy that still do not regret! That said, it requires particular weather to wear it. It isn't warm enough for winter, unless I were to add a lining to it. We don't have a true spring where I live either. So, I wear it on rare cool but windy days when I don't need warmth but need something to cut the wind.

Satin skirts. They require ironing every single time before I can wear them. And I really only like them with soft blouses or drapey, sensual sweaters, so best for winter wear to church, funerals, and the like. Perhaps in the future I would try wearing them more casual, however, with a sweatshirt and low profile sneakers?? TBD!

Plaid tunic. Hunted resale sites for it. The colors are some of my best. The fabric is shot through with a gorgeous metallic copper thread. I don't want it to wear out with washes/cleanings, so it gets limited wears, despite its casual vibe.

Mink coat. My 1940s mink coat is very special to me. It was my birthday gift this past year from my dearest. We found it while thrifting in a little town. (The owner's name is embroidered on the satin lining.) I know some people object to fur. Vintage fur is a different ball of wax for me, though I still hesitated to share anything about it here on the forum. But I do really, really love it. The coat was made locally with locally raised furs and owned by a local high society woman. It's incredibly warm. It's old school glamorous. And my husband gifted it to me. I don't wear it often for various reasons, but I love it to pieces.

Camel scuba trench coat. The scuba fabric can snag easily; there are already a couple of small snags on a sleeve. While I adore it, because of the fabric I have reserved it for nicer occasions like church service, funerals, dinners out, and the like--where it's less likely to hopefully get snagged to pudding.
