I will preface this by saying I've wanted a Belstaff jacket for years. Hubs has one and he's always saying he's going to get me one. Well, yesterday I had an hour or so to kill before a movie and wandered down to the Nieman Last Call near the movie theater. I was on the lookout for black blazers and came up empty, but I did spy this grey-green Belstaff and tried it on for grins. I love the color and the style -- it's longer than most of my jackets, which is a fun change of pace.

The fit is such that this would not be a jacket for much layering underneath, but I have other jackets that serve that function. I texted a pic to my husband and he texted back, "Get it!!!" Uh, who am I to argue with that?

Less than 1/3 of the original price too.

I'm pretty excited about it. Not exactly a need in my wardrobe, but I will look awesome on the back of hubs' motorcycle.

Uh, ignore the weird placement of my handbag's straps behind me in the fitting room. LOL Didn't see that until after I'd already left the fitting room.

What do you think? Did I have sale goggles on, or is this as big a winner to you all as it was to hubs? (He didn't care about whether it was on sale -- I told you he's an unusual one!)
