As said in my comment to the blog, black is an old sweatheart for me-very forgiving:-) adding some contrast and even some edge for my no contrast self when needed - just curious when our love affair will eventually end(?).
I love matte blacks with showing some tan in summer- As said before I am low contrast blonde (think also a neutral) but nowadays I find myself loving a no make- up but tanned face to match (or temper?) its drama.
Here I wear a ZARA dress a https://www.zara.com/hu/en/lin.....=284785161 but picties on the webpage really don't do it's justice-I wouldn't even bought it if not having chance to try it on in the BM shop we entered by chance(pun intended:-)).
It is a linen dress and pictie was made right in the dressing room (I was on a roadtrip in mid summer) and being a caual dress I just loved the vibe of it with my bare but tan face/body to it. I would really like to keep my tans for winter-somehow-do you have solutions for it? UV lamp and tinted BB/CC creams came to my mind but curious if UV lamps are still a thing(or not?) and how you do it without harm.
This became a fave dress for me now. I hated sleeveless but have grown up to wear it anyway. It is black head to toe, straight cut with some clever seams on bust and torso (I think) and doubles with a wrap on skirt from the waist down. The skirt has some longer ties back and front which tie together on front side like an half(or3/4) apron. I find this asymmetric detail genial for adding structure and texture on my thickenning waisted self and also adding some interest to the plain dress in the meantime. Edges are left subtly raw (which I also like!) it has a V-neck and a zip on the back (that I don't really use- as I sized up for a more fluid fit). There is quite a big slit up on the back hem, too- but is half covered by the wrap skirt there (showing more legs only when walking). I find all this little details matter a lot for me feeling somehow sassy but still covered when wearing it in the heat.
I had my gold gladiator slides on and a straw tote with me that day- and kept wearing the dress the same way (or with a little straw cross body bag) all summer.
Thanx for watching and all comments are appreciated.
