My First WIW: Angie’s Sleeveless top with vest

Making this first WIW has been an eye-opener. First of all, I now have a
keen appreciation for all the time and energy members put into their
posts. I don’t always respond: I am only learning –courtesy of the forum—how to articulate what I see; however, I am always learning from and inspired by your posts. So, many thanks to all you members.

Inspired by Angie's recent ensemble, shopped from my closet

#1 worn to birthday treat with girlfriends: a fluid high-low lightweight rayon vest (Salaam rayon vest, local boutique) over a grey linen tunic (EF, thrifted) and relaxed skinnies, with a grey, white and black crossbody bag and ankle strap pumps. Worn with silver and pearl pendant, mixed metal bracelets, mixed metal wristwatch.

Posting this is a learning experience for me: I am actively soliciting your input. I am particularly interested in which version you think works better (for apparent age, body type, and style) and why.

In terms of my style: well, I don’t have a cool persona yet, but I can offer a few
descriptives: neoclassic, urban, casual, sensual.
