While I've been lurking and commenting for a month now, I haven't had the courage to post a WIW. Partly because my wardrobe is so *sparse, and partly because I'm having trouble dealing with my larger, post menopausal figure. My dear friend, Sarah the White, encouraged me just to put up a picture or two and get it over with, so here we go.
The first photo is from mothers day. My husband and I drove up the Blue Ridge Parkway, to Mt Pisgah, and while I hadn't planned on doing any hiking in my new Sam Edelman sandals, thats what I did. The white capris and cotton sweater are also new, and I'm questioning whether or not I should wear something so baggy.
The second outfit is what I wore today for coffee and grocery shopping. The dress is new from Old Navy, the sweater is Vera Wang and I've had it for ages; it's my absolute favorite. The shoes are Fidji. The photo bomber is my grandson. Is the dress too short for someone my age?
*Hanging out here on YLF has helped me so much in finding clothes that fit, and I've been able to double my wardrobe this past month. Thank you lovely ladies for your help and inspiration.
