My favorite jeans

Life being stressful and hectic limited my inspiration in putting outfits together and I stayed in the same formula as it was a year ago: wide leg jeans, printed tops and structured jackets ( work mostly). The off days are very simple and repetitive - less is more .
Here are some outfits from last year and some that are more current.
The jeans are BDG wide leg from Urban Outfitters- discontinued now . And the cuffed jeans from Lucky Brand that I got 8 months ago ( n/a as well ).

It’s comforting to fall back on old favourites in stressful times. These jeans are amazing slim cat. The flare is so dramatic, yet by no means does it overwhelm you. Love how you’ve styled them, particular 1, 6 and 8. Hope life gets less hectic and stressful for you.

Wow, how nice collection of jeans outfits. You are so creative and why change winning team. All are great but my favorites are #1 , fantastic and unexpected green jeans, #4 and #7, very elegant with that jeans jacket I am looking for.

Your formula is unique and so cool. It’s easy to see why the wide legs are favorites, they suit you so well. I really like the cuffed jeans as well. I go to Lucky Brand for tops but I never realized they had such nice jeans. Sorry to hear life is stressful but you can be sure you are looking fab.

I love the first pair of BIG, big jeans! KILLER fab. You wear them gracefully, confidently, and with quiet drama. Impressive!

#4 is casually elegant! Super duper matching, right down to the earrings and your pretty light eyes!

Fab cuffed jeans too! Hopefully life is calming down a bit.

So great to see you post! You look amazing in wide leg jeans -- this formula works perfectly for you. I think kmy favourite is #1 but all are spectacular. How great to havae a workday formula that just works!

Thank you, @merwomen! My wide leg jeans have A-line shape ( more dramatic ) and tend to look different when I walk - sometimes being mistaken for barrel shape or flare jeans - I love that about them .
Thank you, @Mirjana! The jeans in #1 look more green than true grey color like in #5 - but are the same jeans . Sorry for confusion - I'd love to find green jeans for my collection.
Thank you @ChristelJ! I always check on Lucky Brand jeans - they still bring more mid and low rise styles than probably any other brand. I worked for the brand for almost 5 years and still have flares and straight jeans from them ( in the holding area for now ), and lots of LB jewelry. The blouses used to be more dressy before - current styles are more casual to my eye. My daughter loves their t-shirts and sometimes we go together to see what's new in the store.

Thank you @Angie! I think I try to match too much sometimes and maybe it's less fashionable now. I try to repeat a color in my accessories like jewelry or belt - sometimes it feels natural and occasionally forced ( still working on it ). I do love the look in #4 - one of my favorites.

Thank you, @Suz! My work demands to be dressy and polished and my looks are more casual compare to some of my co-workers . I try to wear jeans almost year around since it's my main focus in selling. Usually it helps to showcase some possibilities in styling and mixing "something old" and "something new".

Team Matchy-Matchy is alive and well! (I bat for that team with you). And none of your outfits look "forced" as you describe them. They looked pulled together with attention to detail

Oh, I can identify with your formula. You look terrific in wide-leg jeans, and the cuffed jeans are nice change up too. Love all the pattern tees and toppers that you've chosen. Casual chic boho lite in my opinion.

Wide leg jeans, structured jackets, and printed tops are a superb combination on you. You are wise to reach for this formula during stressful times.

1 - The white jacket really picks up the white in the print of the top really well! The drape of this jacket, shorter in back, longer in front, is lovely on you.

3 - I adore the color of this jacket and how fun that the wristlet print matches! The solid column of color let's the print of the bag and the jacket shine.

5 - White and grey are a really pretty color combination on you. Your legs look miles long in wide leg jeans.

6 - The print on the top and long earrings add a bit of fun to this otherwise tonal outfit. You have a great eye for prints and details.

7 - Another lovely printed top and dark jacket and jeans outfit. The addition of the belt is a nice touch too. This dark tonal outfit is lovely on you.

8 - What a fun cuffed jeans look! The light color belt picks up the light colors in the printed top (which is a lovely floral abstract type print).

10 - *high five style twin* Layering graphic tees with a shirt and shorts has been a go to outfit combination for me this summer. The striped shirt and graphic tee are superb paired together.

Thank you for mentioning my casual "off duty look" - I put it here for "reality check" - I'm more casual and simple person outside the work. I've got striped cotton shirt at Marshall's in May and it became a favorite thing ever ( it does have very small embroidered red hearts ). The shorts are AG straight cut with mid rise - from clearance and probably old style ( instant workhorse ).
