I was DETERMINED to learn how to learn how to use the camera, tripod, etc. before my 60th birthday which is (yikes!) tomorrow. Nothing like studying up at the last minute. This isn't exactly my style, but after Angie's post yesterday, I thought I would give it a whirl. The pics really point out to me how much I hate this haircut. Hair was spikey for a couple of decades and my hairdresser wants to go all cute on me. Yech!

Off to change to attend an outdoor immigration prayer vigil. I want to wear warmer clothes and covered feet. Assuming these affairs don't turn violent (this is my first), but I was a Girl Scout so I like to be prepared.
I'm hoping that my photo taking and outfits improve and am looking for any and all suggestions. I need to dig up the rectangular sunnies that I got the three of us in our family; it blacks out the eyes like they do in magazines.
