So it's VERY hot here at the moment. We are bunkered down indoors with the air con on but even with the a/c it's a struggle. I don't cope well in the extreme heat and am prone to heat headaches.

So Master 10 requested a milkshake. I dutifully head to the kitchen.... milk, ice cream and chocolate flavoring added, blend it thinking it looks a darker colour than normal...oh well.

Master 10 did NOT enjoy his Teriyaki Marinade milk shake! I can't think why?? Well the bottles do look similar...and it is very hot! Lol

If anyone needed a bit of a chuckle today, hope this did the trick

HAHAHAHA; I definitely laughed out loud for real - omg; that is hilarious! Don't worry, my mom did something similar when I was a kid: she sprinkled salt all over my birthday cake's icing thinking it was sugar. No one in the family dare say anything, and we ate it all (dad too!)

Once, a friend of mine mixed up chili powder and cinnamon on his daughter's oatmeal porridge. She didn't enjoy that very much, but he told her to finish her meal When he realized, it was to late, she was finished.

Ha ha ha! That is GREAT! It will go down in family history for you all, I bet. My MIL (the most amazing and wonderful and kind woman I have ever known) and her family used to joke about the pie that she made using salt instead of sugar. Luckily as she was dishing it up (for company no less!), she tried a little nibble. It makes me smile even now to think about it.

Too funny! My brother once used Raid instead of Pam to spray muffin tins. They were both kept under the sink and the cans are about the same size. We noticed a very chemically smell while the muffins were cooking. It's become a family in-joke now about how he tried to poison us all.

There's an ice cream store in Vancouver where they make all manner of odd flavours including garlic and hot sauce. This would fit right in!

Too funny. Last week I gave my 2 yo thinned out peanut butter to dip her apple slices in. She was NOT impressed with the dip at all. OK, whatever, just eat the apples. Later when she was napping and I was cleaning up I noticed that the peanut butter dip looked funny. Yeah, it was leftover refried beans.

Fusion food? Out here, there's an ice cream place that makes bourbon with corn flake ice cream. It's very good, actually. I've seen many unusual combos, but teriyaki is a new one. Thanks for the laugh.
