I have been reading some blogs and articles discussing the renewed popularity of multiple ear piercings. I have seen photos of women of "a certain age" wearing very elegant and cool earring combinations.

So I am wondering what you think?

I have one hole in each ear and have always been a little on the conservative side as far as ears and piercings go:)

With my shorter hair, earrings have become a really important accessory and most days I wear either a hoop or a more drop style. My smaller studs are not really getting a look in. So now I am thinking that an extra piercing in either one or both ears might create an opportunity to create some really lovely earring stylings combining my dangly style with my studs.

So who out there has multiple ear piercings? How do you wear your earrings? How do you combine earrings. If I was going to do this, would you add a second hole to one or both ears?

It wasn't easy to find pictures of just two piercings but this give you a bit of an idea.
