Wow I love this! The sweater with the boots is fabulous. Such a pain about the pants seam though, unless they were super cheap I would try to return (or exchange?).

You all have galvanized my thoughts : I'm taking the jeans back today. They were NOT cheap, although not expensive on this forum, I realize. I think they were around $110 ish. If they say "no", well, that's on them I guess.

Good, though I like the outfit! Boots especially The leg must have been cut wrong to make the seam go awry like that.

Great outfit! Too bad about the jeans - that would drive me crazy too. I love the jacket. I have a furry white one that I love for the same reasons - it's lightweight yet super warm. But it also adds so much bulk that sometimes I'm hesitant to wear it. Also it's definitely a statement piece and I don't generally like my clothing to be so noticeable.

Lisa, that jacket doesn't make you look big. It makes you look like you're wearing a fluffy cloud of fluffy cotton candy in a scrummy fall color. I actually love the outfit and think you look great!

And I don't know what is up with seams on pants. I have several pairs of pants and leggings that twist around like that, too. It is the MOST annoying thing. It has to be something in the fabric or construction making it twist like that, like maybe they didn't cut on the grain but on the bias or even however they had to cut to not waste fabric and get more pairs of Jean's out of a bolt of fabric? Whatever it is, it's just stupid and they need to stop it.

did you size up to a M or to a L? I straddle those sizes in items like this, and I'm wondering if it will be too oversized if I order L. it says 8 - 10 is M, which is what I have in my cart. Oh why oh why oh why do I allow myself to be tempted by posts like this! I love this, I'd decided to sit out the fluffy coat trend, but seeing it on you? I'm decidedly IN!

Ha - Cindy Is IS stupid, I agree.

Gorgeous outfit and I agree that $110 is too much money to spend on jeans that will not sit right. I hope you get your money back or a store credit.
Fair Isle sweaters, when done right are wonderful. You have made this look fashion forward and cool.

AndiB, I am generally a small. Occasionally a M. I took an M in this. It is not too big.

I’m usually am M and sized up to an L . I wanted length and and oversize look .

You are a matching pro! And how trendy you look. I'd also love to see the boots and jacket paired with an all white ensemble. That would be super glamorous!

I love how it all works together!

I have also had some weird jeans twist events. Took me by surprise and kept thinking I could straighten them out, but no. Very annoying.

So only you would find the PERFECT fair isle sweater for non-fair isle lovers - the caramel with the light grey and black is so chic - especially when paired with those boots! Makes it Urban somehow. I’m also not normally a fan of those coats but the color of this one odd luscious on you and looks so great. 10/10!

VERY late to the party here as I catch up on older forum posts, but I wanted to chime in with how much I love this look on you, Lisa! I am not a Fair Isle gal either, but this one is perfect with your hair, the boots, the teddy coat.

Thanks Carol !

I didn't see this post 3 months ago. Perfect colours and styles for you, Lisa. I guess they look fine in early spring, too.
