Laura, let the mega edit begin! Ilm giddy thinking about it.

Sharan, you are soooo lovely.

Brooklyn, good question. Only two bags have padding - see Finds - because they flop. The rest are extremely structured and stand on there own. The crossbody hangs on the rack.

Congratulations on the move - your closet looks amazing. I am so impressed at your beautiful collection of wardrobe pets and think you need more pet storage, as otherwise the collection will not be able to grow.

Congratulations on your move and welcome to your new home. Your wardrobe looks wonderfully organised and a delight to be in! It is lovely to see, thank you for sharing the photos. The colours are delicious, and so lovely to the eye! Sam is such a delight.

I am wondering how you pack out your softer bags?

Thanks for the kind words.

Bijou, I need to consider a bag shrine when we remodel

Jane, I use duster bags to fill out the two pets that flop, so that they hold their shape.

Congratulations on the move! Even your organizing style is immaculate! You have motivated me to organize my drawers. They are appalling right now. The light in your new place looks so warm and inviting. Enjoy!

Your new wardrobe looks great. I was kind if relieved to see the cardboard coat box as up until that point I wondered why you would need to remodel at all :-).
Don't answer if it's too personal, but what prompted the move?

Congratulations Angie,
Your closet looks amazing - so perfectly organized. I am really inspired to reorganize my closet now.

Thanks, Kelly and Katerina. Perhaps we need a organize and neaten your closet challenge?

Anne, we felt like a change after living in our urban Seattle house for 13 years. Greg turns 51 and I turn 50 next year = time to step it up and start a new chapter. If not now - when ?

I get it Angie. Life changes at decade birthdays makes so much sense to me. If I traced my life back, I am sure that every single decade started out with a major change that set the stage for the subsequent years.

And as you say, if not now, when? Best wishes.

Angie, both your wardrobe and your outfit look amazing.
Best wishes in this move.

I love that you are so organized!!-) I looove seeing all the happy colours!! And I LOOOOVE how the display of your gorgeous wardrobe pets looks like a colourful mini exhibit that would make me smile every day!!

Well done! Moving is hard, physical work, but it gives us a natural opportunity to redefine, re-invent, and reinvigorate. It's a great feeling, once we've physically recovered!

Love the light in your new place!

I'm already on it, Angie. My drawers are done. The closet is up yet. I just have such a hard time parting with perfectly good clothes that fit--even though they don't all spark joy. LOL!

Enjoy your new home, Angie. Love your organised wardrobe. I was quite pleased with mine until I saw yours!!

First off congrats on the new home. How exciting and a fresh start for an upcoming new decade! I am envious of your organization skills. I too tried Konmori's folding technique but each time I pulled out my knitwear there were creases from the folding. How do you avoid all the creases? I gave up and went back to my old stacking technique with less folds. And boy oh boy is it a commitment to keep up with the folding and organizing over time. I am not as committed and the dedication of time is tough for my lifestyle. Lastly, I love all the beautiful colors in your wardrobe. Thanks so much for sharing. #ideas and #goals

Ohhhh and do I spy a carved box from Bali in #1? I think I have almost the exact same box (from Bali).

Thanks, ladies. Appreciate the kind words and wishes. Our move was an excellent decision.

Beth Ann, you are wise and eloquent.

Sterling,
HIGH FIVE. You're dead right.

Mtnsofthemoon, YES. We have the same Balinese box

Kelly and Eirlys, you crack me up.

Welcome home, Angie. I love seeing your organization in action. How lovely it all looks. Enjoy it.

Is removing a folded item neatly from a drawer another one of your magic powers? I have to resort to dividers. Your storage is breathtaking.

Eliza, you make me laugh. Yes, I'm able to remove items neatly from drawers for now - because I wear one item at a time and am on top of the laundry. When I pack for a trip, more items will be removed and then the drawer won't look as neat. And that's okay too.

Fantastic! Moving is cathartic and setting up a new place is exhilarating. We’ve enjoyed our downsize immensely. Enjoy every moment!

Thanks for sharing these inspiring photos, Angie! I seem to recall that you used to prefer to keep sweaters on hangers. I was just wondering if you plan to switch permanently to drawers now? Congratulations on your move! You sound very happy.

Scarlet, good memory. And to answer your question - I don't know yet

Congratulations on your move! I keep coming back to these pictures. So tidy and such beautiful colours! I've been editing a lot recently but the result is nowhere near as organized. Secretly hoping some magical elves come tidy up my closets while I'm asleep

**Marie Kondo bows with deep sincere respect**

Thanks for letting me know, Angie. I also moved to a new home in the last year and I am still contemplating the best way to store my wardrobe here

Scarlet, we will work it out together

Kondo would make the world's cutest drill sergeant

Hanging sweaters? Doesn't that lead to "dents" in the shoulders? How do you stand that? Drives me crazy.

So organized. Very impressive.

Congrats Angie! So organized!! Such a happy, colorful place! You know, for whatever reason, I had always thought you lived downtown until you showed your snowmagedon photos. Maybe bc you talk about walking so much. Urban living sounds fun...I've never done it. I can walk to 7-11 and a drive through coffee place, lol!

Have a great weekend!! You deserve some relaxing!
