OMG Angie, I do remember those CM pants! I wore them for many years. How fun that you remember them, too.
I have just ordered the BR pants , tough the size may not be correct. They only had my usual size, no size up, but the line supposedly runs small. Fingers crossed that they are not too small.
Wow! Congratulations on the move and it sounds like it was absolutely the right decision. Your organization and folding skills are awesome! Sam looks adorable in his new home. New pants are fab too! Views sound wonderful! Thanks for sharing!
I'm very impressed ! But somehow not surprised I moved over a month ago and closet and wardrobe organization is still a work in progress. I'm intrigued with your BR Japanese collection pants - they are terrific....but what's with the sizing ? Only to size 4? Sheesh. Great look on you though - whole outfit is a great casual look.
You are so beautifully organized! This is gorgeous. Love seeing how cleverly you have stored it all, and love Sam's expressions even more. The BAGS!!! Fabulous array!
So fun to get moving update!
You are fantastically organized fir just having moved in.
I am your shoe twin, BTW.
Love this pants. BR is still doing some good fabrics. Ann Taylor seems to have abandoned that.
Angie - we are staying in the same city, other side. I will be closer to work which I am excited about - maybe I will enjoy winter again without the stress of driving across town for work.
So tidy and organized, congrats Angie for accomplishing the move! Your brights always cheery me up! Loved to see Sam's wardrobe- his little face and the other pets, too!:-)
Thanks for the awfully kind words and good wishes, ladies. The temporary storage space has worked out better than I expected. I’m relieved to have my wardrobe ALL in one space like I’m used to. Got to get that coat closet sorted....
For those asking about the Japanese collection pants from BR - they run TTS and not small. They are AMAZING. I wish they had more options. INCREDIBLE fabric. Mostly sold out now. And few sizes unfortunately. I was very lucky to find my size in stores.
Robin, snap! Moved in the same city too. Good luck! You will be very relieved to be on the other side of the move.
Angie would you consider doing a post on your folding techniques?? Especially the sweaters/ knitwear as you seem to have some fold/roll combo going on there.
Congratulations! A house with a sea view, how nice! Your wardrobe looks like an art installation and like many others I am impressed by your organizing skills. I like your outfit very much, and the photo of Sam sitting on the box is priceless!
Happy new home! And how cheerful is your temporary closet! I am impressed at how much style and color you've compressed into a relatively small amount of items (compared to my wardrobe, I should add. I need a ruthless Marie Kondo-izing of my clothing).
Oh, my! I would like to be half this organized! And your outfit is to die for. Those pants are such a beautiful fit, and super with the pullover and cross-strap shoes.
Angie, is there a trick to storing your bags that way? (I mean upright in a row.) Mine have a tendency to flop over. Especially the cross bodies. Do you have anything in the bags to weight them? Maybe it only works for satchels?
