I tried on my outfit today but didn't bother with make-up, not that I use a lot anyway. The idea was to see if I liked the hat. My husband does, but I wonder if something darker wouldn't be better. Hope it isn't too young for me. I don't want to be mutton dressed as lamb! Yes, I know the heels are a bit OTT but I've always worn high-ish heels as I'm only 5 foot 1. For some reason if I wear flat shoes I end up with cramp, very painful.
There'll be a lot of sitting down, as well as dancing in the evening. I shall probably substitute a shorter cardigan for the long coat for the latter. As long as it hides my tummy. :O
I am clutching the little box-shaped bag as daughter has taken my clutch bag.
