We are still living in the Polar Vortex land - temperatures ranging from -5F to 20F (-20C to -7C) - so I have been pretty much wearing a uniform all winter. Too much snow to risk wearing anything other than sturdy boots + jeans/pants and very cold weather led to the acquisition of multiple cashmere sweaters. That's pretty much all I have been wearing (although I was inspired by Sveta to wear a skirt - after layering Heattech leggings over fleece-lined tights, of course).
This year I am leaning more towards straight led jeans + short boots instead of skinnies + tall boots. I started wearing baggier jeans because they are not as likely to create a muffin top problem but was not sure whether that worked. By then I saw Angie's blog post on reinventing the skinnies/boots formula with baggier bottoms and shorter boots http://youlookfab.com/2013/12/.....all-boots/ !
