I tried some more on.
Picture 1 - I like that it is blue, but do feel a bit like Andy Pandy. DD 15 thinks is a the stripes are a but much
Pics 2-3 same thing in Australian size 8 and then 10. DD Liked this better but not sure of colour
I unexpectedly have a free lunch today so will keep looking
Any comments or criticism welcome.

The light blue might show sweat, if that is a concern for you. Do you have any preference for shorts-length vs pants length?

I do feel that the shorter ones are a little shorter than ideal for me when bending over!

Also, some back of thigh cellulite is evident!

Really? I think they’re great. 2-3, that one *does* look kiddie to me. But the others, I think you should go for one.

The size 8! And I don't think "Anne" and "cellulite" even go together. The 10 is too big. It would be for beachy summery events, BBQs etc, wouldn't it? Would it matter if you look young? Lots of compliments on the way... "You don't look old enough to have a ... year old daughter", etc?

You look great in these. I don’t think the stripes on 1 are too much at all, really like it on you. The next one is also good; I like 2 better than 3. I don’t understand playsuits that look like shorts & top. Couldn’t you get that look by wearing shorts & top? I don’t think the bathroom issue is nearly the roadblock some people see it as, but it is an unnecessary bump in the road if this is the look you’re going for, IMO.

Agree with FashIntern that there seems no point in a playsuit that looks like shorts with tucked in top, I thought the same but forgot to say.

I am a big fan of playsuits, especially for 36C weather! I think you look great in these, #2 is my favourite on you, but you look great in all of them. All that running has given you lovely legs and I think you should show them off, but only if you feel comfortable wearing them. More summer clothing will be coming into the stores, so if these feel too short, I am sure other options will be there.

I bought this playsuit from Cue (currently on sale) and really like the quality of it, the fabric does not crush at all. The leg length of the shorts is a bit longer than the ones that you have tried.

Thanks Jenni. FI and Jenni, I kind of agree with you on the shorts and top look - but I was attracted to the high neck - lots of the playsuits are too low necked for me. I'm not really sure that I have the waistline to carry it off anyway.

Bijou, I'm sure you look great in the Cue playsuit. I'm afraid even at the sale price it's over budget for me (I'm not saying I'd never buy Cue, which I love, but it would be office wear with high longevity) I'm also not keen on the v neck on myself. I like that that one has sleeves

DH likes #1 the best so far. These are all from Valley Girl, a cheap shop I'd almost sworn off, btw! (with the dirtiest changerooms I've seen for a while)

Of these, I like #5 best. Good blue and high waist on you.

Angie, the one I tried before, https://www.valleygirl.com.au/.....mpsuit-cgy seems to be sold out of the shops I've looked at, and not in my size online. This is a fast fashion shop so I guess one needs to work fast.
