On the same trip where I bought the Chilean pendant/earrings I bought another in Buenos Aires. It's called rhodochrosite and is Argentina's state mineral/stone. It is also the state stone of Colorado. I haven't worn it more than 1x in the past year, but today I realize it would look great with a dark higher neck top instead of against my skin in this Boden sweater. We also bought some small statues carved from the same stone. This is a tango-dancing couple.

The second pendant came because we were stuck in O'Hare when our plane was late a few years ago. We roamed the airport. The store is no longer there. These are synthetic stones. I also bought a ring I'll show another day. I show it propped up so the light can shine through. Very pretty stones but again, I haven't worn this much.

Enjoy. I've got to run and Zoom with family.
