Thanks for the nice comments! Getting dressed is good therapy it seems. I have a feeling that if I stayed in sweats all day I’d be wallowing in my own misery.
@Angie: Lol! I’m getting there. I still prefer getting the blessing from the collective though!
@Joy: Aww, thanks Joy. I think the necklace helped with that one--I can’t remember the last time I wore one but it certainly helps break up the stripes.
@Ceit: Thanks!
@sarah: That is hilarious! The same outfit on opposite coasts We are definitely on the same fashion wave length!
@Carole and Cathy: Thank you and I appreciate the thumbs up on the slouch.
@Anna, Caro, pil, Glory, Alicat: Thanks!
@Parsley: Thank you and OMG, yes! Just making coffee and lunches is a task. Honestly, though, I feel pretty fortunate that I’m not totally old and decrepit. I can still do so much by myself and thank goodness that I can still drive! I have this cast for two more weeks--I’m lobbying my doctor to get in a achilles boot instead of another cast after this. We’ll see. (He’s taking his sweet time getting back to me. Arghh!)
@Rae: Lol! Ya, I’m not willing to cut anything. That would be too RATE, anyway
@Shannon: Thank you--that is so kind. I’ve got to tell you that sloppy puts me over the edge. So glad that I’m still managing to avoid that look!
@Mochi: LOL! I was laughing at DD the other day who looked at me as I was making my way to the car and said, “Mom, you look disabled!” Seriously? I can’t believe it took her over a week to notice that--teenagers!
