Last summer I bought a a red and black print top to wear to a couple of reunions, but when it came time to pack, I chose a simpler Nic+Zoe top and was happy in it. (I've worn the red/black once.)

Last night it dawned on me I could wear the same top under the BR blazer I posted a few days ago. I don't remember ever trying it, but here it is in my first photo!

I have several N+Z tops and I wear them a lot in warmer seasons. I like them because they skim over my body and are more like a tunic than a sweater. All these wears and no one except Mr. M has seen it twice.

#1 Miramar Beach Restaurant at Half Moon Bay in June--a favorite place. Our anniversary lunch.

#2 At the Harbor Restaurant, Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara. We spent several days in SB in June, and ate at the wharf, although our favorite restaurant has been replaced by another. We lived in SB several years before moving to Silicon Valley. Like to visit.

#3 At Mambo Italiano in August, a family dinner at a favorite place in Chicago suburb.

#4 Mr. M's law school reunion dinner in Los Angeles.

#5 High school reunion in Salt Lake, with an edge of a classmate.

#6 Christmas silk scarf, a present from family, not worn until this weekend.

#7 Wore it to old favorite restaurant in Saratoga, now remodeled and a Michelin star. (I liked the old cozy version better.) I wanted to show the pendant that inspired me to wear the scarf. (Didn't work.)

##8-9 Bonus photos with blue sea and sky on Stearns Wharf. I have many similar photos over the years, but just 2 for now. I think that's an AKII turtleneck, as you can see in 1997. Second I'm not sure, but possibly also '90s, in a Karen Kane jacket and pants.
