yup.

I chopped off my hair too.

After months and months of deliberation and "to cut or not to cut" I made my hair appointment last month. I got so sick of my indecisiveness about hair style that I just asked for a short hair cut on an appointment which was suppose to be just for a consultation.
I had few pictures for inspiration but the stylist had freedom to do whatever according to my hair texture -- they are super think and tendency to be dry.

It is slightly blunt cut and with little bit of length on front. And I added waves to it later.
I really don't think it's the "it" cut or very current but it suits my face, personality and my figure ( depending on brand i am size 8-12)

Stylist suggested a very tight cut from back but opted not to go super tight from back as I have uneven cowlick at the nape of my neck. Hence you are seeing little pieces of hair on my neck.

I am really not missing my long hair at this moment but I get surprised every time I see myself in mirror

Reaction of other people have been really interesting. My favourite one was when I said Hi one of our Neighbour as he passed by ...he said hi and his feet moved forward first then he turned around with wonder in his eyes and said... " ohhhh it's You!!!" --- I could no stop smiling at his funny reaction.

Pic 1: long hair length before hair cut
Pic 2: after cut -- picture taken by husband.

In pic 2, I am off to attend an ethnic festival and wearing a long tunic by a Pakistani brand called " Khaadi" -- they are a leading brand in Pakistan for wovens, cotton silks and are highly known for their stylish embroidery designs.

this is the first time I am posting a picture with my face and I would like to know do you guys think this cut suits me? Or I am just " change happy" right now.

Lastly, do you guys mind that I am sharing an ethnic outfit on this forum? Whenever I receive them as gifts from my relatives I am amazed by their beauty, colours and quality and would like to share them on and off.
But if you guys do not want to see them that's okay too...

Thank you for reading, comments and suggestions.

Love and peace!

Edit: I am feeling very encouraged by your responses and adding a full length picture of outfit. This pic came out a little blurry so I didn't add it initially but you will get the idea.

Also the bottoms ( which are elasticized waist bottoms from forever 21 ) need to an inch or two higher.

Also from my recent knowledge after reading YLF was that I am suppose to wear an open sandal and preferably same colours of bottoms but I ended up wearing red , close toe block heels... Because ... Ummm they are comfy and kinda pick up the red from top.
