Today would have been my mother's 85th birthday, and she's been on my mind. I thought I'd turn my sad thoughts of missing her around and find some of the pics I have from when I was growing up. I then realized it might be fun to share them here, to share a little bit of my mom's style, which helped shape mine as well.
As you can see, mom was on Team Short Hair, Team Ladylike, Team Floral, Team Curls, and Team Hat. She was also on Team I Love to Shop, and we had great fun in the stores together. She always took pride in her appearance and loved clothes, fabrics, interior design and decor, and lots of forms of visual art. She was a lovely woman in so many ways, and she is missed. Love you, Mom!
