You've warmed my heart with all your kind words! Hah Joy and Vicki - great suggestion! I even have that CD somewhere... And AJ -the hair is forever a work in progress. DD requested less spikes, so I've been growing it. It's at the awkward stage right now, but with the right product (gorilla glue comes to mind) I can shellac it into place. hugs to you all, Sue
I have such a soft spot for that color. It looks great on you and fits like glove. The Okalas will not disappoint I wear mine to lots of weddings and they make me have happy feet. Rest up now for the big day haha.
Wow, you're stunning in this (and love the accessories, too). I can't believe you just needed a bit of hemming...it looks like it was tailored within an inch of its life for a perfect fit!
So glad you chose color-color for your dress. Not sure how/why the beige-y "requirement" for MoG/MoB dresses started, but I bet a champagne blond had something to do with it.
You took my breath away! OMG, your RED dress is gorgeous and so different, and the styling is exceptional, too!!! Love the scarf (worn like a pashmina) in the same shades but watercolor print(?) and the other nude accessories! Elegant and ladylike just as a MOB should be!:-)
How did I miss this? You are stunning in that lovely dress. Wow! How great to feel settled and joyful about your outfit for the big day. 20 out of 10 here. Well done.
oh my goodness, didn't realize that this thread was still active, and with such sweet comments! Thank you all for your good wishes! Yes Vix - I swam (pun intended) in anything that wasn't jr prom, so the perfect fit on this dress and DD's approval sealed the deal! The whole dress adventure has 'turned' me - dresses are now part of my summer repetoire!
