Sorry to be missing in action but the three of us went on vacation last week along the incredible beauty of MN's north shore along lake superior. It was our wedding anniversary on August 7 and hence the choice of the vacation days.
I realized I don't pay enough attention to packing for vacation posts and have decided in the future that I must try on all combos with jewelry and shoes beforehand and carry those pics as my 'cheat sheet' if you will.

7. my monogramed pendant. stands for my three initials in order. My middle name is my Dad's first name but my husband's first name also starts with the letter A. so my mom thinks it incorporates both my families
8. I added a belt that I found in Duluth to my outfit. Also carrying the 'rae' bag.

I think I did ok but hated not having 'fashionable hiking shoes' Anyone know of any? I wore my sneakers on a couple of the hiking days and I felt the looked too gear-y but not fashionable enough. tough I agree: gear that's rad!!
I wore my hair up a lot as the hair got frizzier through the week but am coming to terms with this summer woe.
