Cumin! All tricky colors should be named after herbs and spices. Also fabulous outfit and you are pulling off all my difficult colors (whatever you call them) beautifully. Agree that some white or cream would be fun to try also.

Shevia, high five on naming colors after things in the natural world. Besides herbs and spices, I’d go for fruits, plants in general, and elements. Otoh, I want color names to refer to the actual color of the things they’re taken from. It drives me nuts when “cobalt” is used for a shade that’s nothing like the element. Turquoise, the stone, comes in a range of colors, so I’m ok with people using that word for something different than the color I think of first, but cobalt, afaik, comes in one and only one very specific color.
