Hi Ladies
I had my visa interview for the UK today. I wanted to wear something simple but wanted to feel confident & authentic in my outfit. I chose a black & white combination.
Ive owned the trousers for 3 years and never worn them! They're from my 'fantasy life' but I dont really need dress pants often IRL. They seemed perfect for today. I added my new H&M top and zara sandals. These pics are from my try-on session yesterday so not accessorized. I wore a red pendant necklace and my gold+silver Balmain watch, and carried my new white bag. The interview went well....now just waiting for my passport to come back with the visa!
On a different note, I identified a wardrobe hole last winter - a casual navy blue jacket. I have a sleeveless vest from zara but that only works over sweaters. For the upcoming trip to UK, I want to carry just 2 jackets. My travel capsule is mostly black & navy, and my denim jacket might not cut it because I'd be too cold to wear that at 12-13deg C. I want both jackets I carry to be able to pull their weight, so got this navy bomber on deep discount. I like the fit. It's very soft & cozy with a thin fleece lining inside. It's perfectly sporty, which is just what I need in my wardrobe....something that looks good with sneakers.
PS: it's not styled here. I'm wearing it over nightwear! I was too excited to see it when it came and just had to try it immediately to ensure it fit)
It's tough for me to find jackets that look good open as well as closed. With my large bust, I usually size up and then the jacket hangs awkwardly when left open. This jacket has stretch because of the knit fabric on the sleeves & back, so it actually looks good open too!
What do u think?
