ChrisM thank you so much! I took a lot of care to plan in advance with the packing. It worked well; it is the first time I have planned quite so comprehensively. I needed two outfits per day - morning at school and early evening out. I packed
3 bottoms: blue jeans, black jeans, houndstooth check skirt;
2 jumpers: striped, woolly jumper (unworn except for plane home)
4 blouses: mustard, red spot, red, navy
2 jackets: denim, mustard tweed
2 dresses: green lace, animal print
Big navy coat
3 shoes: trainers, white boots, black boots with low heel
gear leggings, gear top (good for lounging in in-between school and going out again)
nightie, dressing gown
5 scarfs
Basically, lots. It weighed 10 kg and fitted in the largest pliage bag. Nothing needed ironing; tops were lightweight. I did wear trainers and skirt/dress and black opaque tights and felt very comfortable.
Chouette, wow! Completely fluent! I love Italy very much and it is my big plan to move there if Brexit doesn't sort out! I'm (kind of) joking! We are going to keep on learning. How lovely to have started such a group, and kept it going.
RunCarla, thank you, it was enormous fun. Mum is a minimal colour dresser with white and navy being the focus. Mum stocked up on t shirts in Benetton in jade, pink and yellow.
Phoebe, thank you. Outfit 3 was my favourite of the week. I love that skirt! I can't wait to wear the Zara top!
