Lovely fabbers!
Quick post and run - just about heading out the door to the airport.
Am heading over to Japan (solo!) to visit DS. Thank you all for your inspiring capsules - I've compressed 2 weeks of clothes into a carry on...plus Christmas prezzies since DS will not return until January.
While I would love one of those cuddle duddle hoodies for travel, I'll made do with a very comfortable outfit - slouchy trousers (Joe Fresh), light weight sweater (Joe again) bootlegger belt (nodding to Ceit) Target leopard scarf (for warmth on the plane), and Danier leather jacket - my happy jacket!
I may not be posting, but I sure will be browsing and snapping photos while away. Hugs to you all!

Holy Cow woman! Is that a back pack? I can't believe what an efficient packer you are! That is a very nice travel outfit considering how long you will be flying. I'm guessing most people will be in sweats or yoga pants. You look happy and super fashionable (must be the Danier).

I've missed you, merwoman. Thanks for posting - loving your new 'do. You look extra fab and we wish you a happy and safe trip. I miss Japan too. Have lots of great food at izikayas, yakatorias and unagias for me. And shop Isetan for shoes. Takashimaya for the rest. You can carry the items you bought on your head African style when you fly home, incase you run out of space in that carry on. xo

Two weeks in a backpack?! Please keep track of how many different outfits you wear from your capsule and how often you have to do wash. When you get back, I'd love to know how you managed to make this work. You are an inspiration! I'd surely be paying an excess baggage fee for two weeks.

2.5 hr delay, suppose I should be thankful that safety trumps timely departures. Have tried numerous time to post, very spotty Wi-Fi. Promise to document Japan street scene and my Mary picturesque ward robe. thanks everyone for the chuckles and kind wishes.

Fantastic comfortable traveling outfit. Amazing that you can manage to take all you need in such a small bag. That is a skill I don't possess, I pack more for an overnight trip!
