Hair ended up doing a messy wavy thing all on its own and I liked it.
Decided to try a casual, artsy romantic look for Valentine’s Day.
Wearing very old Frye Rory boots that I started wearing again in December after a very long time being orphaned because they are a little tricky to pull on with my high instep.
Wearing boots with Universal Standard Geneva dress in navy (I wear the petite size in this dress to achieve a knee length/tunic look), velvet burnout duster that I got with a birthday discount at Anthropologie, a fringe necklace on a gold chain.
The duster is 100% JAZZ HANDS every time I wear it.
(Scent: from a local indie perfumer who uses natural materials that I got some tester vials from during a recent sale, Coco Blanc by House of Matriarch. It’s a scent that sits close to your skin but is potent and beautiful and intimate. It has notes of white chocolate, musk, chai, and the most beautiful woods. It’s a glorious cold weather fragrance.)
My husband and I had an easy and delicious seafood dinner with a beautiful nighttime view of the city. The restaurant offers “taster size” desserts for half the price, or a sampler with several taster size desserts. What a great idea! We enjoyed tasting several selections.
