Me With Long Hair (Pics)

I’ve had short blonde bobbed or a short blonde pixie all my adult life, and long hair only every so often. My late Mum did NOT like my hair long as an adult. She never liked it longer than my neck length, and was very frank about it! I didn't like it either....

I came across these old pics while cleaning up yesterday - since we’re moving in a month. Lots of dogs - always!

#1 - 2 yrs HK

# 2 - 6 yrs HK

#3 - 22 yrs Cape Town

#4 - 31 yrs HK

#5 - 29 yrs (Jasmine & Rosie at 11 weeks old) Johannesburg

# 6 - 32 yrs (Jasmine & Rosie at 3 yrs) Fontainebleau (sunburnt!)

#7 - 35 yrs Seattle

#8 - almost 49 yrs Velp (a week ago with Papa back in NL)

#9 - 1 yr HK (white shoes signature for a very long time....)

#10 - few days ago after a trim and foil.

How precious are these! Gorgeous in every era, with your sunny smile (so much like your Papa's) and your furries by your side. Your long hair is lovely, but your pixie is so distinctive and has so much personality.

Lovely photos - thanks for sharing ! I like your hair long - despite your mother's opinion You have the face and head shape for pretty much any cut. Short is infinitely more modern though

So pretty at all ages! I agree with Lisa that you could wear pretty much any style and look gorgeous.

I like short hair on others but am too scared to go back there — my head is quite small proportional to my body, and at my current weight I’m worried I’ll just look like a tiny head on a huge body, LOL! Maybe I need to be going in the opposite direction and embracing big hair like I did in the 80s!

I actually quite like you with long hair, but it is true, you look like a different person. I love pic6. With the two doggies, sunburt cheeks in black and white, it looks like it belongs in a lifestyle magazine.

Aww such a cute little girl! I actually love your hair in the long pics (which surprises me because I am usually a short hair fan) but like your short do also. I think some people can carry off any style.

I have had many lengths from pixie in 1st grade to long Marcia Brady hair in 8th grade. I got the Dorothy Hamill cut after that and then short all the way. Mine now is usually about chin length and I consider that long.
