Me and some of my artist friends after painting this morning at a beautiful overlook on the Peoria Lake, Illinois River. The breeze was heavenly but made my hair and outfit look rather the opposite. It didn’t help to have my (linen) shirt get all bunched up under my bag strap. Fairly typical lately… I don’t know why I look unhappy in this picture because I was certainly having a great time. Picture dark chambray shorts and bright pink Converse sneakers to complete this happy outfit.
Maybe I’ll post an update here when I get the painting a lot more towards finished. Right now it’s very rough, needs color and composition corrections.
