May was not the easiest month. It started off with another foot surgery (my second and last, as I have no more feet, lol). I woke up on my birthday with strep throat, got over that and then got it again. Our 18 year old kitty's health began failing dramatically, and towards the end of the month we made the decision to put him to sleep.
I decided early on in the month to rely heavily on Angie's Ensembles and Pinterest for outfits I could wear with Frankenshoe and my Hi-Ness sneakers. I had to wear my Hi-Ness because they were the only shoes I had with a wedge height that matched Frankenshoe. I had already purchased the black and white Hi-Ness when DH got me the white cutout version for my birthday. I was going to return them, but decided to keep them and I'm glad I did as they are extremely comfortable.
Some of the outfits are a far stretch from the original ensemble, but it's what gave me the idea for the outfit. I must say I had great fun going back in the archives for some of Angie's ensembles!
So here it is…"Sassy Sneaker Month"…I can't say I'm thrilled with a lot of these outfits, but at least there will be no more foot surgeries!
