I'm watching the Fall 2016 RTW shows in detail at the moment in order to get a good handle on what's happening in fashion, and the way forward.
MAXIMALISM hits you like a ton of bricks. My goodness. The era of Minimal outfits is over - for now anyway. The Gucci show was sooooo OTT. It's as if designers were inspired by the maximal street style at the shows themselves.
I'm quite pleased with the change, actually. I'm bored with the concept of Minimal, as it seems overused at this point in many ways.
