Maximal Layers (Accidently!)

It was 40 degrees yesterday. For dashing in and out of the car, this outfit would have been fine at that temperature.But there was wind-lots of wind! I threw on the fur vest so I didn't have to change clothes.

The cardigan is a new purchase to fill out a capsule wardrobe for travel.

Ooooh, I love this!!! Beautiful colours and such a fab blouse. At first glance I actually thought the fur vest was part of the cardigan, they work beautifully together. I also love the juxtaposition of the dressy blouse with the jeans tucked into more casual boots (they look so comfy).

Love your lipstick and earrings too.

Yes I have to agree the tones of the colors only add to the beautiful maximal vibe. So very rich and toned down by the blue jeans. Well done if even on accident.

Thanks to everyone for the encouraging words!!! I am glad to know the booties work as they are the ONLY pair I own.

The fabric was a piece just laying around in my stash. Since I bought cranberry jeans at the Nordstrom anniversary sale, I knew this was the year to sew the blouse. It took me a long time and I procrastinated most of the fall. It is washable so I think it was worth the effort.
