Lurex and high waist wide legs

Hi all,
Another casual holiday outfit. Cooler weather but still high summer.
I took a leaf out of Jenni’s book and decided to wear a summer knit short sleeve sweater in pink, it’s not often the right temp for this top. It’s lurex and a thick knit…. But short sleeved.
I also was inspired by kkards amazing jeans wardrobe and decided to let these widelegs be the star of the show.
I couldn’t quite work out an accessory, and thought maybe with the lurex top and the sneaks it would be too much anyway, so no accessories or lip color today.

NB: fwiw, in Finds, the trim on the top looks quite a different colour to how it is in real life. My own pics are accurate, the trim is mid tone pink; not red.

This is adorable on you, Jussie! The jeans look like a perfect fit and the top is relaxed and pretty and also graphic with the darker edges on collar and sleeves. I really like the way those simple details add a bit of punch. The sneakers are terrific! I need to check out the colours and see if we can get them in Canada. A lot of times I have wished for a multicoloured sneaker.

Suz: Thanks so much! I like the retro detail of the coloured strip on the sleeve and neck. It’s not a top I wear often but when I do it feels kind of fun! The multicolored sneaks are great; they are in my preferred pastel colours so they co-ordinate with quite a lot of my existing clothing. And the platform sole works well with the full length pants coming out lately.

Love it- perfect look! The sneakers are great example of multi colored shoes that go with many things ( wanna run away with them ).
I guess I’d be tempted to wear earrings with blue turquoise. ( or blue eye shadow for fun ).

I love this combination. The contrast of the dark jeans and the light pink is just fab. This outfit really suits you. I always put on accessories, in this case I would put simple silver stud earrings and some clear lip gloss or a slightly sheeny lip colour. This is my favourite outfit of yours so far, it really works for you. Love the fit of the jeans too.

Sisi: thanks! Just thought a matching lip would be too much pink, what with the pink in the shoes and top too….. and I don’t really have any other shades I thought would work.
star: thanks; I really appreciate the kind words. Yes simple silver earrings probably would’ve worked…. Good point! Glad the jeans fit looks good- sometimes it’s hard to find a well fitting pair.
