I often find myself confused when it comes to dressing-up for casual occasions- say a lunch date or shopping- where one needs to look put-together, but not exactly dressy. So I was very happy with the way this outfit turned out to be- and there might just be a simple formula to it- coloured pants + basic tee + loose cardigan + bright scarf + comfy shoes. Since I have several coloured pants, I'm going to try to play around with this formula and see what all colour combinations I come up with.
