low heeled pointy toed pumps - for Angie

Yesterday Angie posted on Facebook that she will be wearing lowheeled pointed toed pumps in the spring. I started early and wore this to work today.

I still like pointy toes. I have some pointy toed animal print kitten heels and I need to wear them.

Those look very versatile. They remind me of shoes my mom loved to wear when she was working, and I mean that in a good way. She always looked sharp when she was working.

Does this sound weird when I say that this style doesn't look great on everyone, but really suits the shape and proportions of your foot? It's as good a guess as any! I also like these a lot on you. The whole outfit works very well.

Mochi, I actually totally understand what you mean! Part of why I have always liked pointy toe shoes is because they often work better on my narrow feet -- not only in fit but flattery! My mom loved her pointy toes for years because they suited her small frame and very delicate, narrow feet (AAA widths were hard to find, and now are nearly impossible!).

I wanted to say that deb has pretty, elegant feet but worried that I would sound like a pervert or at least complete weirdo. But yes, the shape of the shoe, ending in a point, is balanced on her feet and would not look so great on my wide-ish duck feet.

Mochi, you are too funny and not a pervert. Thank you for the compliment. Actually my feet are pointed like the shoes. I have included a picture to show you. Now that is wierd to post ones own feet!
