I saw a pair of Gucci jeans last year that I loved - but did not want to pay $1000 plus for them. I saw the cheaper and very similar GRLFRIEND pair in stores and had to try them on because they reminded me of the fabulous '80s. High waist, carpenter pockets, roomier leg fit, ankle length, and ZERO stretch. (100% cotton).

The white stitching and button just about launched me into orbit.

I LOVE my new jeans. They are EXACTLY the tapered hem silhouette I wanted to change things up from skinnies, cropped straights and cropped flares. I adore the roomier yet tailored fit SANS stretch, and the dressiness of the uniform navy denim. Button-fly too. They might need half an inch off the hem for other booties, but the length is perfect for my shooties.

They look different on me than on the model. I am curvier and shorter than she is - and have a shorter rise. No alterations needed at this point.

I'm wearing these jeans today with new navy Boden pullover, Zara capelet, Western shooties, navy knee-highs, watermelon Furla, and all my pearls. Have to showcase the white button, stitching and high rise with a semi tuck. Worked with a client and felt fab. Now I want all my jeans to fit this way.
